The John Locke Society is dedicated to the scholarly study of John Locke, his accomplishments, and his intellectual milieu. Our aim is to promote fruitful interactions and critical engagements among scholars from all areas of Locke studies.
We are currently in the planning stage. Recent events include a group session at the 2017 Central APA and a workshop on toleration at Western in June 2017. The next workshop will be held at Oxford in July 2018. Keep an eye out for a CFP to be released this fall. Other news about the planning process will soon be released via our newsletter and blog — please sign up so that you don’t miss anything. If you want to know more or have thoughts on what the JLS should do, we’d love to hear from you!
